Palu, Jan. 27 -- The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government has expressed its commitment to promoting a clean energy transition by reducing dependence on fossil fuels and coal.
"In the future, there will no longer be any power plants using fossil fuels or coal. Solar power plants (PLTS) are being developed," said Central Sulawesi Governor Anwar Hafid in Palu on Tuesday.
He explained that the provincial government plans to develop PLTS as a more environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative energy source.
This step is part of broader efforts to protect the environment while ensuring a stable electricity supply for the community without causing environmental damage.
