Jakarta, Dec. 31 -- Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that the disbursement of temporary direct cash assistance (BLTS) for beneficiaries in the flood- and landslide-hit Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra has reached above 80 percent.

"In Aceh, the disbursement has reached 88 percent despite constraints in internet networks, unstable electricity, and access to several districts and cities that remain cut-off," he said here on Wednesday.

He reported that the total distribution of BLTS in Aceh as of Wednesday afternoon has reached 206,495 beneficiary families. Each verified beneficiary family across Indonesia receives Rp300,000 (around US$17.9) per month for three months, totaling Rp900,000.
