Jakarta, Oct. 16 -- The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected two provisional measures filed by the Israel Gymnastics Federation (IGF) to secure its athletes' participation in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta on October 19-25, 2025.

"The requests for urgent provisional measures were considered by the Deputy President of the CAS Appeals Arbitration Division. Both requests have been rejected," the CAS noted in its statement as cited on Wednesday.

The requests were submitted after the Indonesian government denied visas for Israeli gymnasts set to participate in the championships that will be held in the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex.
