Jakarta, Feb. 14 -- Canada's Minister of International Development, Ahmed Hussen, expressed his country's willingness to help Indonesia develop nuclear energy as an alternative resource to deal with climate change.

"Canada has extensive experience and expertise related to nuclear resources, and we want to share it with Indonesia," he said during a special interview with ANTARA in Jakarta on Friday.

According to Hussen, his party acknowledges Indonesia's efforts to use nuclear power as an alternative to meet the increasing national energy demand while maintaining emission levels amid climate change.
