Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- Indonesia's state logistics agency Bulog is accelerating food distribution to flood-affected communities in Aceh, West Sumatra and North Sumatra, its president director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said on Tuesday.

"We are ensuring all staff move quickly, stay responsive and work with all partners so food supplies remain secure," Rizal said in a statement.

He added that Bulog's efforts reflect its commitment to supporting disaster-hit residents and maintaining food stability.

"In an emergency like this, nothing is more important than ensuring people feel safe," he said.
