Jakarta, March 2 -- Indonesia's State Logistics Agency (Bulog) has ensured that the national rice stocks are safe to meet people's needs until the end of this year's Ramadan so that supply stability can be maintained during the period.

Operational and Public Services Director of Bulog Mokhamad Suyamto, in his statement here on Sunday, explained that Bulog has prepared various measures to ensure the stability of rice supplies throughout Ramadan with the government's reserves and local production.

"Currently, the total rice stocks secured by Bulog approximately reached 1.9 million tons," he said.
