Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- The State Logistics Agency (Bulog) has ensured that national rice stocks remain secure for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year celebrations, with reserves reaching more than 3.8 million tons across Indonesia.

Bulog Deputy President Director Marga Taufiq emphasized that the current stock is more than sufficient to meet public demand during the year-end holidays.

"It is more than enough. We still have over 3.8 million tons of government rice reserves (CBP)," he said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Bulog has also prepared anticipatory measures to ensure smooth rice distribution to various regions despite rising demand ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities, he added.
