Jakarta, Feb. 19 -- Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto highlighted the benefits of state budget efficiency in relation to the planned amnesty grants for Indonesian prisoners.

"The state can carry out budget efficiency, considering that operational costs in correctional institutions are very large in meeting the needs of correctional inmates," he remarked during a working meeting with Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
