Jakarta, Oct. 24 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo confirmed that next year's budget cuts will not affect the health and education sectors.
"Budget efficiency in the regional budget will only apply to physical projects considered non-urgent," he said on Thursday.
He explained that services at community health centers will not be reduced, although the budget for their physical construction will be trimmed.
The governor added that his office is currently preparing to develop and revitalize several health facilities in the capital.
Two new community health centers will be built, while several others will be renovated with more modern facilities, he continued.
