Samarinda, July 12 -- Indonesia's National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) has called on the public to exercise greater vigilance in safeguarding their personal data on social media, especially against identity theft and cybercrime.

Speaking in Samarinda on Friday, Dwi Kardono, Intermediate Cryptographer at the Directorate of Cybersecurity and Regional Government Encryption of BSSN, stressed that safeguarding personal data is a crucial first step before securing larger electronic systems.
