Jakarta, Nov. 11 -- The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Chief Arif Satria is calling for a stronger public-private partnership (PPP) to bolster Indonesia's research ecosystem.

Met after his inauguration ceremony here on Tuesday, Satria highlighted opportunities for synergy between BRIN, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and sovereign wealth fund Danantara to enhance research capabilities in the country.

"We will soon coordinate how BRIN, the Higher-ed Ministry, and Danantara can work together. These three institutions must be strong because Danantara is one of Indonesia's development agents, trusted by the President to strengthen our economic structure," he said.
