Jakarta, Dec. 1 -- Chief of the Indonesian State Audit Board (BPK) Isma Yatun was elected chair of the UN Panel of External Auditors for the December 2022-December 2023 term at a recent meeting of the panel in Chile.

The election of the BPK chief to the post proved the international community's recognition of the BPK's capacity as a professional audit institution, Chief of the Board's Public Service and International Cooperation Bureau Kusuma Ayu Rusnasanti said in a written statement released in Jakarta on Wednesday.
