Indramayu, West Java, July 21 -- The Poverty Eradication Acceleration Agency (BP Taskin) has tasked five regions in West Java and Central Java with developing specific sectors, based on their unique potential and using an agglomeration-based approach, to address poverty.
BP Taskin Head Budiman Sudjatmiko said that the approach aims to ensure poverty alleviation programs are implemented in a more targeted manner and answer to the needs of individual regions.
"We have designated the leading sectors for each region. Indramayu, Cirebon District, and Brebes will focus on the food sector. Kuningan will specialize in renewable energy, while Cirebon City will lead in digital and creative industries," he informed here on Monday.
