Jakarta, Nov. 7 -- The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) informed that private gas station operator, BP AKR, has ordered another 100 thousand barrels of fuel from Pertamina Patra Niaga.

"BP AKR will order another 100 thousand barrels in two weeks, in the third week of November," the ministry's Director General of Oil and Gas, Laode Sulaeman, said on Friday.

BP made this additional order after purchasing the first 100 thousand barrels of base fuel from Pertamina Patra Niaga at the end of October 2025.

Regarding the import quota for private gas station operators in 2026, Sulaeman stated that the government may reinstate the 10 percent additional quota scheme.
