Indonesia, Dec. 23 -- The number of visitors to Borobudur Temple in Magelang District, Central Java, during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays is estimated to reach 170 thousand tourists, both domestic and foreign.

The Commercial Director of InJourney Destination Management (IDM) or PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko, Gistang Richard, said here on Monday that the peak of visits is projected to occur on December 25, 26, and 31, 2025.
