Jakarta, Jan. 28 -- The body of an Indonesian migrant worker who was a victim of a shooting incident involving officers from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM) will be repatriated following an autopsy.
The Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur confirmed this information based on details received from the Malaysian Police (PDRM).
"The embassy will carry out all (necessary) procedures for (proper) handling of the body as well as facilitating the repatriation to Indonesia," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Monday.
The deceased Indonesian citizen, with the initials B, hailed from Riau Province.
