Jakarta, July 16 -- The National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) will focus on strengthening its early detection system next year to prevent and address acts of terrorism.

During a hearing with Commission XIII of the House of Representatives (DPR) on July 9, 2025, head of the BNPT, Commissioner General Eddy Hartono, affirmed his agency's commitment to boosting early detection through collaboration with ministries/institutions and the community.

"We will focus on strengthening the early detection system," he confirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He added that the agency has designed four priority activities (KP) to ramp up early detection.
