Jakarta, Sept. 22 -- The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) recorded 6,402 findings of online content containing radicalism and terrorism between January 1 and August 26, 2025.
During a media visit to the Antara Heritage Center in Jakarta on Monday, BNPT Head Commissioner General Eddy Hartono said the findings were spread across various online platforms.
"Even though some were old, they continue to be reposted," Hartono said.
He explained that the Counter-Radicalization Task Force will coordinate with the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) to consider shutting down accounts or removing content.
