Jakarta, May 22 -- The National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) held an integrative terrorism mitigation training involving various elements of government agencies in Kuta, Badung District, Bali, on May 20-22.

BNPT Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Capacity Development, Brigadier General Wawan Ridwan, remarked that the training aimed to strengthen preparedness and operational capacity to anticipate potential acts of terrorism, especially in Bali.

"This activity is a pre-emptive and preventive measure to address the potential threat of terrorism by strengthening the preparedness of all state apparatus across various sectors," Ridwan noted in a written statement received here on Thursday.
