Indonesia, Aug. 20 -- The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reaffirmed its commitment to reconstructing homes damaged by the 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Poso, Central Sulawesi.

"For those whose homes were damaged by the quake, they cannot currently return home and should wait for the reconstruction process to be completed," said BNPB Head, Lieutenant General Suharyanto, in Poso on Tuesday.

For the time being, residents could stay or rent accommodation at their neighbors' or other places. Rental and accommodation costs would be covered by the central government through BNPB.
