Banda Aceh, Dec. 10 -- The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) is accelerating the distribution of basic necessities for evacuees affected by floods and landslides in Aceh Province, including those in hard-to-reach areas.
The effort aims to ensure that assistance reaches affected residents as soon as it arrives at the main post.
BNPB's Head of the Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, said in Banda Aceh on Wednesday that aid deliveries continue daily via land and air routes.
He emphasized that meeting basic needs, particularly food and daily supplies, remains a priority.
