Jakarta, Feb. 6 -- The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) is intensifying coordination with local governments to ensure quick response measures following a 6.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Pacitan District, East Java.

The Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, stated in Jakarta on Friday that his agency is providing coordination support, strengthening emergency response command systems, and preparing resources based on needs on the ground.
