Jakarta, April 1 -- Head of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Suharyanto confirmed no Indonesian citizens were victims of the earthquake in Myanmar.
"So far, Indonesian citizens are safe. There were no injuries, let alone fatalities," Suharyanto stated when met at a press conference at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, Tuesday.
The BNPB gathered information from various sources regarding the Indonesian citizens' condition in Myanmar shortly after the earthquake struck on March 28, 2025.
However, he admitted that the current condition of Indonesian citizens residing in Myanmar post-earthquake remains unclear.
