Banda Aceh, Dec. 18 -- The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) announced the commencement of temporary housing for flood victims in Aceh Province.

The Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, on Wednesday (December 17), informed that the temporary housing construction is located in Tangse, Pidie District.

"Construction of temporary housing in Pidie District has begun. The temporary housing is for 12 families affected by the flooding in the area," he stated.

In addition, the Central Aceh District Government and the Gayo Lues District Government have also proposed the construction of temporary housing.
