Jambi, July 27 -- The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Headquarters deployed five helicopters to assist the Forest and Land Fire (Karhutla) Task Force in Jambi Province in combating forest and land fires.
"Five helicopters from BNPB and Polri Headquarters have been deployed to Jambi for patrols and aerial spraying of forest and land fires," said Bachyuni Deliansyah, Head of the Jambi Provincial Disaster Management Agency, in Jambi on Sunday.
He stated that the assistance consists of two water-bombing helicopters and two helicopters from BNPB. One helicopter from Polri Headquarters, while the other from BNPB, is currently en route to Jambi.
