Jakarta, Oct. 14 -- Head of National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto has called on the public not to fear reporting drug abuse cases, emphasizing the availability of government drug rehabilitation programs.
He stressed that rehabilitation is not a form of punishment, but a means to help drug users recover and return to productive lives.
"The state is not here to punish, but to provide assistance. Rehabilitation is not a path to prison, it is an opportunity for self-recovery," Seto said in a statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
