Jakarta, Dec. 11 -- National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Dadan Hindayana has expressed support for the ongoing police investigation into an incident in which a Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program delivery car crashed into a school in Jakarta.
The vehicle, identified as a minivan, reportedly sped through the gate of Kalibaru 01 Public Elementary School in North Jakarta and struck one teacher along with several pupils who were seated in the schoolyard during a literacy activity at around 6:38 a.m. local time.
"This incident is a crucial point prompting us to conduct evaluations. Therefore, we fully support the police investigation and will bear all the medical expenses for the victims," Hindayana stated in Jakarta on Thursday.
