Jakarta, Nov. 17 -- The National Alms Agency (Baznas), through its Disaster Response Team (BTB), provided immediate emergency health services and opened public kitchens in two landslides-affected locations in Cilacap and Garut Districts, West Java.

"Public kitchens and health services were set up in both disaster zones to provide ready-to-eat meals and rapid medical check-ups for affected residents," the Head of Distribution and Utilization of Baznas, Saidah Sakwan, said on Monday.

In Cilacap, Baznas opened public kitchens, provided basic medical services, and offered logistical support for the joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team.
