Jakarta, April 1 -- The National Alms Agency (Baznas) is sending humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Myanmar on Tuesday.
In a statement on Tuesday, Baznas Chairman Noor Achmad said the aid would be delivered alongside contributions from other ministries and agencies, following directives from President Prabowo Subianto.
"We are very concerned about the earthquake in Myanmar. Many victims have lost their homes and need immediate assistance. Therefore, Baznas and various parties are working quickly to assist," he remarked.
According to Achmad, the first aid shipment prepared by Baznas includes 100 generators, 50 tents, 10 thousand sarongs, and five thousand packages each of women's essentials and children's necessities.
