Indonesia, June 6 -- The Indonesian National Alms Agency (Baznas) is targeting to slaughter seven thousand Qurbani, or sacrificial animals-comprising cattle and goats-across various locations in 10 provinces for the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Baznas' Deputy II for Distribution and Empowerment, M. Imdadun Rahmat, stated that the program would run until June 9, marking the conclusion of the tasyrik days, noting that the meat would be distributed to both donors and people in need.

"In Banyumas District alone, we are sacrificing 150 goats," he remarked during a slaughter event organized by Baznas in Banyumas, Central Java, on Friday.
