Jakarta, Nov. 27 -- The Indonesian National Alms Agency (Baznas), through its Food Bank program, has distributed around 6,000 portions of meals to survivors of landslides in Banjarnegara District, Central Java.
"Under the Food Bank program, Baznas has been operating a public kitchen since Saturday (Nov. 22), serving about 1,500 food packages daily," said Head of the Baznas Distribution and Utilization Division Saidah Sakwan in a statement on Thursday.
She emphasized that the initiative is intended to ease the burden of displaced residents and reflects the agency's commitment to providing swift food assistance to those in distress.
