Jakarta, Dec. 30 -- The Indonesian National Alms Agency (Baznas) has carried out disaster relief efforts in affected regions across Sumatra, reaching 116,054 residents since floods and landslides struck three provinces in late November.

Head of Baznas' Distribution and Utilization Division Saidah Sakwan highlighted that the relief efforts included setting up public kitchens, distributing ready-to-eat meals, providing family logistics assistance, offering health services, expanding access to clean water, distributing sanitation equipment, and providing psychosocial support.
