Jakarta, March 21 -- The National Alms Agency (Baznas) is partnering with the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment in the efforts to eradicate extreme poverty and empower mustahik (alms beneficiaries).

Baznas Head Noor Achmad, in a statement here on Friday, accentuated the importance of collaboration between Baznas and the government in tackling extreme poverty in Indonesia.

"Baznas is committed to synergizing with the government in the efforts to eradicate extreme poverty. Through this collaboration, we hope to make a real contribution to the welfare of the community," he remarked.
