Jakarta, July 15 -- The Investment and Downstreaming Ministry and Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has informed that Asia's first quantum artificial intelligence (AI) data center will be built in Batam, Riau Islands, with an investment of US$400 million.
In a statement issued in Jakarta on Tuesday, Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming and deputy head of the BKPM, Todotua Pasaribu, said that the investment will make Indonesia a center for advanced computing based on artificial intelligence and quantum technology in Asia.
