Indonesia, Dec. 7 -- The National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) has delivered emergency supplies by sea to two flood-affected areas in Pasaman Barat District, West Sumatra, as land access remains limited.

Pasaman SAR Post Coordinator Novi Yurandi said on Sunday in Simpang Empat that the shipment was transported aboard the KN SAR 240 Ramawijaya from Teluk Bungus Port in Padang to Nagari Katiagan and Nagari Maligi.

He explained that the supplies were provided by the West Sumatra Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and distributed through Basarnas because some residents remain unreachable by land.
