Bandung, West Java, Feb. 7 -- The government of Bandung city, West Java, on Friday explored cooperation opportunities with Hamamatsu city of Japan in health and human resource capacity-building.

Acting regional secretary of Bandung, Iskandar Zulkarnain, said that Bandung has a long history of cooperation with Hamamatsu city, which dates back to 2014.

"It is not only for health workers but also the industrial sector and education. Hopefully, in the near future, the cooperation can make progress," he added here on Friday.

Zulkarnain expressed the hope that the cooperation will improve the capacity of health workers and the management of hospitals in Bandung city.
