Denpasar, Bali, Jan. 21 -- The provincial government of Bali is aiming to draw 6.5 million foreign tourists to the province this year, Head of the Tourism Office of Bali, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, informed in Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday.

The target for domestic tourist visits is up to 10.5 million, he said, adding that the target is realistic considering that in 2024, the number of foreign tourist arrivals in Bali reached around 6.3 million.

However, if foreign tourists who came from other Indonesian regions and entered Bali via Gilimanuk Port or domestic flights are included, the Bali Tourism Office put the estimate at seven million in total in 2024.
