Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Youth and Sports Minister Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo praised the private sector's contribution to the development of a global-standard tennis and racket sports arena in Bali.

He made the statement after attending the finals of the Amman Men's World Tennis Championship and visiting the Bali Beach Country Club Tennis Field on Sunday. The venue was developed by several private companies.

"There's a tribune and a Grand Slam-standard arena. Ten pickleball and padel tennis courts will also be built. Once everything is completed, I believe Bali can become a world-class destination and host global championships like the Grand Slam and ATP," he said.
