Denpasar, Bali, Feb. 5 -- The Bali office of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) announced that Bali's economic growth reached 5.82 percent in 2025, the highest rate in seven years.
"Based on data, it stood at 5.82 percent, the highest in the last seven years," Bali BPS Chief Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan said in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday.
The 5.82 percent growth outperformed Bali's pre-pandemic growth of 5.60 percent in 2019.
It also marks a significant milestone in the island's recovery following sharp contractions in 2020 (-9.34 percent) and 2021 (-2.46 percent), and steady gains in 2022 (4.84 percent), 2023 (5.72 percent), and 2024 (5.48 percent).
