Denpasar, Sept. 1 -- The Bali office of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has reported a continued increase in foreign tourist arrivals, with July 2025 recording the highest number of visits so far this year.

In July, a total of 697,107 international visitors arrived directly in Bali, representing a 9.29 percent increase from June's 637,868 arrivals. June had also shown growth compared to May, which recorded 602,213 visitors, indicating a steady upward trend in international tourism to the island.

"During the high season, the number of international arrivals via air in July rose by 9.30 percent month-on-month, although arrivals by sea declined," said Ari Kurnianto, Head of the Public Relations Team at BPS Bali, in Denpasar on Monday.
