Badung, Bali, Sept. 12 -- A family of three has been reported missing after floods struck Bali, local police confirmed on Friday.
The victims are believed to have been swept away by strong currents flowing from nearby paddy fields into their neighborhood, said Commissioner Anak Agung Gede Rai Darmayasa, head of Mengwi Police.
The missing family members are identified as Rio Hatnar Boelan (56), his wife Dewi Ratnawati Soenarjo (57), and their son Riviere Timothy George Wicaksono Boelan (23). Their daughter, Ruth Deidree Marie Korin Boelan (27), was in Denpasar when the floods hit.
