Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 17 -- The Denpasar City Government in Bali is preparing funding to strengthen the economy for traders and business owners affected by the recent floods in the city.

Denpasar Mayor I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara announced the plan after declaring the de-escalation of the disaster emergency status in Denpasar on Tuesday (September 16).

He said the assistance will be distributed after verification and validation using the Denpasar Population Identification Number.

The amount of economic aid will depend on the type of damage, based on calculations by a verification team formed by the city government, he added.
