Denpasar, Bali, June 19 -- All flights at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali resumed normal operations on Thursday following multiple cancellations caused by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in East Flores District, East Nusa Tenggara.
"Flights of several airlines that were previously canceled due to the eruption are gradually resuming," said the airport's Head of Communication and Legal Division, Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi.
On Wednesday (June 18), more than 80 international and domestic flights were canceled after another eruption from Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki.
Since Wednesday night, domestic flights on routes such as Cengkareng-Labuan Bajo and Semarang have returned to normal operations, Asmadi confirmed.
