Badung, Bali, Jan. 6 -- Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has installed thermal scanners to prevent the entry of passengers suspected of being infected with Super Flu or influenza A (H3N2) subclade K.
The General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Nugroho Jati, on Monday (Jan. 5), noted that the thermal scanners used are the same equipment installed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The reuse is based on similar symptom patterns, allowing airport authorities to immediately isolate passengers with fevers for treatment.
