Jakarta, Dec. 10 -- The Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs reported that 30,017 public service points across Indonesia were connected to SATRIA-1 satellite receivers as of December 7, 2025.
Each location now receives internet access of up to 10 Mbps. Most of the connected sites are in the education sector, followed by government offices and health facilities.
BAKTI President Director Fadhilah Mathar, known as Indah, said that expanding digital connectivity in public services is expected to improve productivity, efficiency, and transparency, while also supporting economic growth and social development.
