Jakarta, Jan. 22 -- President Prabowo Subianto said that around 70 million Indonesians are currently benefiting from the Free Health Check (CKG) program.
"Today, 70 million Indonesians are receiving free medical checkups, and they will continue to receive a free checkup once a year for the rest of their lives," the president said at the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday.
Prabowo stated that the program will be expanded to cover all children and adults across Indonesia.
"We have to provide free medical checkups to all citizens of Indonesia. This is not a populist program. This is a rational program to save money by detecting illness and disease at an early stage," he said.
