Serang, Banten, April 1 -- State-owned ferry operator PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry and the government have decided to offer discounts ranging from 21 percent to 36 percent on Bakauheni-Merak crossing rates during the return flow of the Eid homecoming.

The discounts will apply to various categories of passenger vehicles.

The discount policy for Bakauheni-Merak crossing will be valid from noon local time on April 3, 2025, to noon local time on April 7.

ASDP corporate secretary Shelvy Arifin informed in a statement issued on Tuesday that the policy is expected to accommodate people returning to Java Island after celebrating Eid in their hometowns.
