Jakarta, Nov. 26 -- Law and Human Rights Minister Supratman Andi Agtas said on Wednesday that the acquittal process for three defendants in the ASDP Indonesia Ferry corruption case will proceed once a presidential decree is issued.

He noted that the ministry must first receive an official copy of the decree before forwarding it to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"I have not received the copy. As soon as it arrives, today or tomorrow, I will immediately deliver it to the KPK," Agtas told reporters.

The case centers on ASDP's business cooperation and acquisition of private ferry operator Jembatan Nusantara between 2019 and 2022.
