Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- Apple's commitment to building a research and development (R&D) facility in Indonesia could help boost the quality of national human resources, deputy chairperson of Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR), Chusnunia Chalim, said.
The development is the result of an agreement between the Indonesian government and Apple for the extension of the tech giant's domestic component level (TKDN) certificate, which will allow its products to be sold in the country.
