Jakarta, July 5 -- Several Indonesian ambassadorial candidates shared varied reactions after participating in the fit and proper test with Commission I of the House of Representatives (DPR) here on Saturday.

Former coordinating minister Indroyono Soesilo, reportedly nominated as Indonesia's envoy to the United States, spoke briefly about his test. "Pray for me. The process is ongoing," Soesilo stated.

Meanwhile, Abdul Kadir Jailani, Director General for Asia-Pacific and African Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, said his views were sought on programs he would implement upon starting his ambassadorship.
